What is old is new and now even better. The Volatile footwear line initially kicked off with a collection of shoes that were built for comfort and style. A large part of the collection was devoted to fashion sneakers: flat sneakers and wedges that were inspired by the style of the late 1990s in bright colors and patterns. Their customers loved them. Now for Spring 2013 the sneaker collection has been reborn in the new Volatile Kicks collection. A line dedicated entirely to sneakers. Embracing the retro style of the original collection this new line shouts S-T-Y-L-E.

Volatile Kicks

Volatile Kicks has a love affair with color! Pastels, neon, and bright citrus hues give the collection a vibrant personality. Soft-action leather, suede, athletic manmade materials, printed canvas and vulcanized rubber all have a home here. Metallic accents, rhinestones, sequins, and stripes give each style its own identity. For those who like laces styles abound, for those who do not, the collection offers lace-less and Velcro options as well as runners and high-tops.

Influenced by European trends and high-end designers like Isabel Marant, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, and Helmut Lang – all who have produced fashion sneakers as of late – Volatile Kicks offers the consumer an opportunity to have fashionable footwear at affordable prices. With 35 styles retailing for $69-$99 everyone can have a cool pair of “Kicks” in their closet.

“Volatile sneakers are iconic in the fashion-athletic category. Through the years customers have continued to ask for them and we are now very excited to offer the Volatile Kicks collection. Classics with a twist,” says Creative Director, Bodo Loerke. “This collection offers trendy teens, high-flying hipsters, and working women alike a retro look with familiar silhouettes featuring fresh updates in materials and patterns,” adds Kicks Senior Designer, Kelli Kasmir who has collaborated with Loerke on inspiration and design.
